Visit Bluey's House at CAMP Los Angeles and Meet the Heelers

So much so that episodes like “The Sign” are quickly on their way to becoming permanently ingrained in television history. It’s no secret that the show has one of the biggest fan followings of any animated series, but the number of celebrities who call themselves Bluey fans is absolutely remarkable. Along with big names like Natalie Portman, The Jonas Brothers, and Broadway’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, Deadpool himself is even a member of the cute cartoon cult. The main reason is because I feel like I can relate to the characters and the stories they tell. The most important episode for me is ‘Yoga Ball’ when Bingo has to find her ‘big girl bark’.

YELLOWSTONE PLAYING CARDS

My favourite Bluey character is Bandit because he is the kind of father I wanna be. He finds a way to play with his kids even when he has to do something like go to the supermarket or go to the dump. Some day in the near future I would like to go and live in Australia and the Heeler house is just like the house I would like to live in.

The Century City location is one of nine Camp stores around the country, the first of which opened in 2018. From Magic Asparagus to Keepy Uppy to Grannies, this is a chance to play all your favorite Bluey games in their meticulously recreated charming Queenslander home. Brace yourself for a weekend of family games and make-believe, because one family living in Australia will be able to book the exclusive two-night stay at the Heeler’s home.

The front area of the Camp store is the retail area, called the "canteen," which features merchandise and play areas as well as the "Schmutz Schtation" — a DIY slime bar.

They want customers to come for the experience of being in the store — a chance to make memories, not just merch sales. Around the country, Camp locations host offerings themed around "Encanto," "Paw Patrol," "Mickey and Friends" and other kid-oriented intellectual properties. But if your kid likes Bluey, they’ll have a great time here, regardless of age.

Bluey is an animated TV series that follows the adventures of Bluey - a lovable, inexhaustible six-year-old Blue Heeler dog - who lives with her Mum (Chilli), Dad (Bandit) and little sister Bingo. Today a new listing went up on Airbnb for a real, life-size version of Bluey's house. What do Eva Mendes, Natalie Portman and Lin-Manuel Miranda all have in common? The three stars are Bluey superfans (and guest voices) — and come this November, Hollywood’s favorite Emmy-winning Blue Heeler and her family are inviting fans to their home via a pop-up experience at Camp in Los Angeles. This “one-of-a-kind” trip to Bluey’s house is credited to a collaboration between Airbnb and BBC Studios, with a statement explaining that the “house has been entirely customised to bring the cartoon experience to life”. Our newsletter hand-delivers the best bits to your inbox.

CAMP and BBC Studios will introduce an exclusive co-branded Bluey collection of youth and adult merchandise for the whole family. The collection will be available in Los Angeles, on camp.com, and in our other CAMP stores nationwide. Additionally, families not in the Los Angeles area can get in on the fun by participating in one of CAMP's meet-and-greets with Bluey and Bingo at select CAMP locations, including Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, and Chicago. Tickets for the meet-and-greets are available today and can be purchased here. Timed entry tickets are available today at camp.com/bluey. And then, in the episode’s final minute, the show pulls one of its classic time-jump stunts to give viewers a peek at the characters’ future, and this might be the most consequential one the show has ever had.

Peek behind the magic doors

We focus on bringing you all things fun so you can plan your theme park vacation, enjoy Disney at home, and more. Both of my kids had different experiences, depending on which characters were near them, which was really cool. I started searching images of the Heelers room, watching Bluey episodes. First, I made the three walls, then I made the doors, then the stairs, the balcony and so on. I can move every single model, every single plant, every single book. The event opens to the public on Monday, Nov. 6 and is in LA through Feb. 19.

Limited tickets are available today, online at camp.com/bluey or in person at CAMP, and families are encouraged to plan ahead. Kids will soon have the opportunity to come laugh, play, and pretend with Bluey and her family at CAMP’s newest and most heartwarming immersive adventure. Bluey is an inexhaustible Blue Heeler dog who loves to play and turns everyday family life into extraordinary adventures, developing her imagination as well as her mental, physical, and emotional resilience. The show is loved by all ages for its heart, humor, and relatable family moments. Available on Disney+, Disney Junior, and Disney Channel, Bluey is created by Joe Brumm and produced by the Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family.

Timed entry tickets, which are $39 each, are available at camp.com/bluey. Throughout the adventure, kids are meant to feel like they are playing the “most amazing Hide-and-Seek ever,” during which they’re meant to search for Bluey and her sister, Bingo, who have left traces of themselves throughout the house. "Our beautiful country is a character in the show just as much as any of the dogs, so to have brought it into the living rooms of the whole world, encouraging people to come and visit is something I'll always be proud of," he said in a statement.

The space is staffed with “CAMP Counselors” who lead group activities (all of which are inspired by Bluey’s own beloved pastimes), like story time, keep-the-ball-in-the-air (or “Keepy Uppy,” if you’re Bluey) and group dance. Airbnb partnered with BBC Studios, co-commissioner and global distributor of Bluey, on this one-of-a-kind experience. Bluey's home has been recreated in the real world and it's available for humans to spend a night.
